In Scott Huseby’s previous career, he built his North Carolina company Huseby & Associates into one of the largest and most respected litigation support companies in the United States, but life had another calling waiting for him.

After finding the miracle of recovery himself, he took ownership of Costa Rica Recovery to help others on their journey to sobriety. Now, you can find Scott doing what he loves best – helping others and surfing the gorgeous waves in San José, Costa Rica. You can find him at the beachside “Sober Surfers” meeting in Nosara, Costa Rica, which Scott began graciously hosting in his home, that is known as “The Treehouse.”

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Rachel brings extensive experience in clinical mental health, addiction counseling, trauma counseling, and team leadership. She has supervised teams and managed residential programs, most notably managing a program for women and children leaving abusive situations, supervising a team of 15 multi-disciplinary counselors.

Human development professional with over 25 years of experience empowering individuals to become the best version of themselves. As a speaker and motivator for more than 15 years, Morris has developed addiction prevention talks at schools, colleges, universities, and churches across Costa Rica.
