At Costa Rica Recovery we strive to offer high quality addiction treatment services at an affordable price. We maintain a high staff to client ratio while providing a team of passionate therapists and addiction specialists to guide each individual in their recovery journey.


Reservation deposits are non-refundable. To reserve a space to participate in our program at Costa Rica Recovery, we require a $5000 reservation deposit of the first month’s fee prior to arrival for shared rooms and $7000 deposit for private rooms. We accept credit card and International wire transfers.

Potential clients may reserve a space in our program with a reservation deposit prior. Upon making a deposit an arrival date will be scheduled. If a client does not arrive on a scheduled arrival date and has not communicated to our admissions team, Costa Rica Recovery will provide our availability to the next client in need. In order to guarantee a space in our center a change in arrival date must be communicated directly to our admissions 7 days or more prior to the initial arrival date.

Costa Rica Recovery will work to reschedule any reservation deposit that has been missed
to the next available date and apply deposit toward treatment costs if the client’s arrival is made within 6 months of the date of deposit. We want you to get help and enter treatment!

If a client fails to appear at Costa Rica Recovery more than six months after the date of deposit, the deposit will be forfeited and not applicable to treatment costs.


Full payment of treatment services is due on arrival at Costa Rica Recovery and upon each 30 day renewal date.


Costa Rica Recovery reserves the right to discharge any client from our treatment program, and no refund will be given, for any of the following reasons:

  • A client is found to be intoxicated during their stay at Costa Rica Recovery or is in possession of any alcohol and/or drugs.
  • A client is abusive or violent to any staff, other clients or anyone within our facilities.
  • A client causes disruption to the treatment program and/or disturbs the treatment of other clients during their stay at Costa Rica Recovery
  • A client repeatedly fails to adhere to our behavioral guidelines, protocols and expectations.
  • A client voluntarily discharges our program against staff and medical advice (AMA)

Each client will be thoroughly advised of our policies upon admission to our program. The above policy has been made to ensure that anyone who stays at Costa Rica Recovery can and will receive the level of service and treatment they would expect, and on which we insist.

Any client wishing to re-enter Costa Rica Recovery within 6 months following an involuntary or AMA discharge may be permitted to re-enter Costa Rica Recovery subject to clinical approval. A full one month treatment payment would be required for re-admission. Costa Rica Recovery would then honor any unused days from their prior admission at the end of the 30 day readmission period for additional treatment time.


We understand that circumstances may arise that require a client to leave the facility before the completion of their treatment. Please note that the facility does not provide refunds of any monies paid by or on behalf of the client if the client leaves the facility against medical advice or for major rule violations. However, if the client is transferred for therapeutic or medical reasons, any monies paid by or on behalf of the client will be refunded, less our full per diem rate for each day the client was at our facility.
