Scott Huseby is the CEO/President of Costa Rica Recovery. Prior to purchasing the company in October of 2021, Scott Huseby worked as a United States District Court Reporter for the Western District of North Carolina, and was CEO/President of Huseby, Inc., a global litigation support business he founded in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina, expanding the company to over 40 locations across the United States. Under his leadership, Mr. Huseby dramatically scaled the company’s service infrastructure and built a world-class national operation which harnesses emerging technologies in data security, data management, combined with family-style customer support.

Mr. Huseby brings his passion for business development to the recovery business after receiving a traditional frontline education in addiction through personal experience which he discovered had run in his family for many generations. After the alcohol-related deaths of his mother at age 56, his uncle at age 57 and finally his father at age 70, Mr. Huseby made a commitment to confronting his own demons and has a sobriety date of November 5, 2013.

Since purchasing Costa Rica Recovery in October of 2021, Mr. Huseby has been focused on building a solid team of professionals, upgrading the business infrastructure and expanding the company’s services to Nosara, Costa Rica for a phase two integrated holistic retreat center which opened in March of 2023.

Mr. Huseby has three boys and holds a degree in Court Reporting and Business from Brown College of Court Reporting and Business in Atlanta and studied Computer Science at University of Georgia. He has won Excellence awards for his company’s rapid growth while with Interim Services (IS) NYSE. Mr. Huseby is a four-time Ironman Triathlon finisher and a six-time marathon finisher as well as a Certified Yoga Instructor.
