As a dedicated professionally licensed social worker, Andrea is committed to improving the quality of life for patients by providing individual, group, and family interventions. Her focus is on helping patients face psychosocial conflicts and achieve more satisfactory interpersonal relationships. Andrea believes in analyzing their environment and experiences to gain a better understanding of the factors that contribute to their situation.

Andrea received her degree in Social Work and professional licensing through the School of Social Work at the University of Costa Rica. She holds certifications in the Comprehensive Approach to Individuals with Substance Use Disorder through IAFA, and Therapeutic Groups and Social Work through the Costa Rican College of Social Work.

Andrea understands that addiction is often just one component of a complex web of socioeconomic, cultural, and family elements that affect a person’s well-being. She takes a comprehensive approach that takes all of these factors into consideration to achieve a more holistic understanding of patients’ needs. Her goal is to help my patients achieve optimal well-being and a more fulfilling life.
