Residential treatment is not appropriate for every person. Individuals requiring medical detoxification, emergency psychiatric stabilization, acute medical care, or a higher level of supervision may require referral to another provider before admission or during treatment.
Costa Rica Recovery does not guarantee specific clinical outcomes, recovery outcomes, sobriety outcomes, or length of stay results.
7. Outpatient and Virtual Services
Costa Rica Recovery may offer outpatient, virtual, hybrid, or continuing care services.
Outpatient and virtual services require active participation, personal responsibility, and a safe environment outside of treatment sessions.
Because outpatient and virtual services do not provide 24-hour supervision, they may not be suitable for individuals experiencing immediate crisis, severe instability, untreated severe mental health symptoms, active medical withdrawal, or a need for inpatient or medically supervised care.
Costa Rica Recovery may decline, pause, modify, or discontinue outpatient participation if a higher level of care is clinically indicated.
8. Family Services and Educational Programs
Costa Rica Recovery may offer family services, workshops, webinars, educational programs, and community education related to addiction, recovery, codependency, boundaries, communication, relapse prevention, stigma reduction, and family support.
Family services and educational programs are intended to provide education, support, and guidance. They do not replace individual therapy, family therapy, medical care, psychiatric care, emergency care, legal advice, or formal treatment.
Participation in family services does not automatically give family members access to a client’s treatment information. Client information may only be shared with family members when the client has signed an appropriate Release of Information or when disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
